The SBDR suggests future research projects to funding agencies for governmental research funding within Europe and world-wide. It is our aim to bring together internationally leading scientists in diabetes research for the creation of medium-sized and large collaborative projects. Projects are set up and planned together with projects partners. The SBDR also looks for funding opportunities appropriate for the scheduled projects. Together with the principal investigators and coordinators of the projects proposals are prepared for submission to funding agencies on announced calls and prospective calls based on suggestions by the SBDR.
Currently, the research projects presented below are on the way. The projects include consortia with leading scientists as well as detailed projects plans.
